Scariness!

Ok, so i figured I needed to officially document this occasion- I finally saw my first horror movie in theaters!! Paranormal Activity 2. Now, I know this might seem like the cream of the crop when it comes to scary movies, and oh trust me, it was, but while I was scared of hearing big bangs and bumps in the night, and seeing people getting dragged across the house by an unseen force, I just kept thinking to myself, 'Its ok, its ok, this isn't real! It's just some movie and its fine!' I was scared from this movie, but I don't know. Knowing its not real just kind of doesn't really quite do it for me.

I do believe that these kinds of things sort of can happen, just because I think there is good and evil in this world, and at some point or another, both of these things surface into our lives. I think there were two reasons that made this movie scarier than the first... ok more than two!

- The baby. Where the heck does this demon get the nerve to go after some innocent little baby the whole time! I know there was like a curse and whatnot on the family, but whatever! Seeing this baby getting dragged from his crib, crying and screaming, did not settle with me too easily. I just kept saying "No no no no no no no noooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Poor thing! It's crying at something, that we of course know what it is, and the mom's just being stupid and is like "Oh. My son has a short attention span and cries a lot. Great!" NO thats NOT it! aaagh!

- The dog. Same like with the baby. The dog is barking and trying to alert the family like "WTF!! Watch out! Something's going on!!!" And no one ever seemed to really care. I kind of noticed that the dog got really scared ALOT and I don't think once in the movie, did the people think anything of it, or even notice it for that matter. Until the very end, when the poor dog is like konked out by this demon thing! Poor dog!!! It's just telling the ghost, 'Get the heck out of here!!!' and trying to protect its family, but then, nope! Dog gets hurt! I think that made me saddest :(

- Ok, Scariest part for me in the movie...
1) Near the end when the mom is dragged across the house while trying to protect her baby! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was screaming and just like yelling "AAaaaagh!!! NOOOOOO!!!" She put the baby down in the crib while he was crying, and then WHAM! Lady being dragged down the stairs with her legs all flailing about trying to hold on for dear life to the stair banisters!! When she got free and tried to run to her baby but got pulled down again i was just feeling so sad for her! Imagine something going after your baby, and no matter what you do, you can't protect it!! Then she got sucked down into the basement, and I just thought. "Aaaaaaw shit. This is it! She's GONE." And sure enough... here she comes out, hours later, and its not. her.

dum dum DDUUUUMMMM!!!!

freaking scary movie! but... I liked it! I might even want to go again!

Although i've been scaring myself out about it today :) Last night, I got back to the apartment, and it was all quiet and creepy and I just kind of kept looking over my shoulder every time I went in a room, hahaha. I jumped 10 feet in the air this morning though, when I was taking a shower, and my shaving cream bottle fell behind me and made a loud bang! It scared my so bad!!! I slept ok last night, but I had Sadie in bed with me, and got my Nala doll to hold tight while I slept.

Can't wait for Halloween!!

HI∑ Littles and such

I had so much fun making my little's presents and trinkets the past couple of weeks, but I am without a doubt happy to be done! I'm going to try to remember everything I made for them so I will never forget all the hard work (and happy memories) I put in it...

-HIS Wooden and painted letters
-HIS blanket
-HIS Bag
-His Picture Frame
-Cookies
-Candy
-Mix CDs
-Little vases
-Apples to Apples costumes
-Photo Albums
-Wooden Doves

I think I had the most fun making the blanket and picture frames. I was able to get really artsy fartsy with the frames and I loved the sewing I got to do for the blankets. I loved being able to give my littles something to show that even if I haven't met you yet, I already care for you and want to show you how great great HI∑ is! I really think we are so lucky at TCU to have a special organization like HIS. People are able to make life-long friendships with people who share their faith in Christ. I may not fully immerse myself in the religious aspects of HIS like I thought I would, but I have made so many great friends there that I wouldn't trade for anything! You always hear about sorority girls being slutty, bleach-blonde, mean girls, but the girls in HIS are genuinely amazing people. They care for you and always try to bring a smile to your face.

Oh yeah, incase you couldn't tell... I love HIS!
